Last night around 8 PM, unknown individuals threw stones at a freight train of the Railways of Republika Srpska near Ramići, close to Banja Luka. The train had 30 wagons and was scheduled for loading ore. Fortunately, no one was injured, but material damage was caused. The Railways of Republika Srpska strongly condemn this act of vandalism and urge the public to respect legal regulations and not to destroy railway property, as it endangers general safety and their own safety. The investigation is ongoing, with the competent authorities of Republika Srpska working to clarify the case. Despite the emergency event, there were no delays or traffic disruptions. This incident casts a shadow over the safety of railway traffic in the region and reminds us how important it is for all traffic participants to be responsible.
