A severe thunderstorm with strong winds hit the western coast of Istria, particularly the areas of Rovinj and Pula. In Rovinj, 30 yachts were stranded and three people were injured. Firefighters conducted over 50 interventions, especially in the Amarin and Porton Biondi campsites where the wind knocked down numerous trees. In Poreč, firefighters had nine interventions including water pumping and tree removal. In Pula, fallen trees blocked roads, and the injured were treated at the Pula hospital. The storm caused significant damage and traffic disruptions.
