Storm in Istria: Severe Clouds and Aftermath in Pula

In the afternoon, severe weather hit the Istria region, especially the city of Pula, where thick gray clouds covered the sky. Storm chaser Sendi Smoljo, who has been pursuing storms for over 13 years, captured fantastic footage of the sky before the storm. In the Porton Biondi and Amari camps, many trees fell, several people were injured, and cars were damaged. Emergency services have been deployed, and the situation is gradually calming down.

Political Perspectives:

Left: Left-leaning outlets emphasize the impact of the storm on local communities, highlighting the damage to property and injuries sustained by residents. They may also focus on the response of emergency services and the need for better preparedness for such natural events.

Center: Center-leaning sources report the facts of the storm event, including the meteorological phenomena, the damage caused, and the response by authorities. They provide balanced coverage without strong political or emotional framing.

Right: Right-leaning media might focus on the resilience of the local population and the importance of individual responsibility during natural disasters. They may also highlight the role of experienced storm chasers and the significance of weather awareness.
