Serbian president calls for dialogue; students remain firm.

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, called for dialogue regarding the students’ demands, but the Rector’s Collegium of the University of Belgrade rejected this invitation. Professor Vladan Petrov emphasizes the importance of dialogue for society and expresses concern about the lack of communication, especially at the Faculty of Law. Petrov believes that social divisions are deep and that it is essential to improve communication and dialogue to overcome existing problems. He also points out that irreconcilable differences are often exaggerated and that it is important to listen to others. Petrov is concerned.
