A strong earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale struck the coast of the southern Mexican state of Chiapas, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC). The earthquake’s epicenter was at a depth of 10 kilometers. There is currently no information about casualties or damage.
