Today, three bridges in Novi Sad will be blocked: Freedom Bridge, Žeželj Bridge, and Varadin Bridge, to mark three months since the accident at the Railway Station in which 15 people died. Students from Novi Sad faculties, with support from their colleagues in Belgrade, are organizing protests with a plan for a 24-hour blockade. The City Council has canceled the ceremonial academy for City Day for safety reasons. The police have expressed a desire for the protests to proceed peacefully, while students are appealing for peaceful behavior and a ban on violence. Students from Belgrade arrived on foot.
