Successful Women in Focus at Meeting with Government and Opposition Representatives from Montenegro

Organized by the General Consulate of Montenegro in New York, a gathering of the Montenegrin diaspora focused on successful women from New York and surrounding US states was held. Representatives from both government and opposition in Montenegro, including members of the government and parliament, attended with the aim of strengthening ties between the diaspora and the homeland and advancing women’s rights. General Consul Amer Cikotić emphasized the importance of unity and overcoming political differences for the benefit of Montenegro. Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Zdenka Popović highlighted the need to support diaspora families and work together to create a more just society.
