The Swimming for the Holy Cross event was held across Serbia today, and at Lake Vlasina, the winner was Jovan Ristić, a twenty-one-year-old firefighter from Vranje. In Vranje, over 50 competitors participated, including young men, women, and children, swimming at the highest altitude in Europe. Jovan, who has been swimming since childhood, participated at Vlasina for the first time without any special preparations. The youngest winner was thirteen-year-old Strahinja from Užice.
