This morning, a terrifying traffic accident occurred on the main road between Novi Pazar and Raška. The driver of a Suzuki motorcycle, carrying two passengers, lost control and veered off the road. The motorcycle crashed into a parked Mercedes, injuring the driver and passengers.
The driver, I.D. (38), was reportedly driving at an inappropriate speed, which caused him to lose control. On the motorcycle were his friend S.I. (36) and his wife A.H. (33). The impact was so strong that the driver ended up under the car, while his friend fell several meters away in shock. The wife tried to pull the driver out from under the vehicle as bystanders called emergency services.
Quick response from the emergency team saved lives and transported the injured to the General Hospital in Novi Pazar. Doctors confirmed that I.D. and his wife sustained minor injuries, while S.I. suffered more serious injuries but is not in life-threatening condition. All injured were tested for alcohol and psychoactive substances, with results pending.
