Have you heard of Nikola Džufka? No? Well, get ready! This guy is a fake bishop who has already broken into Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) churches three times and caused chaos! The Raško-Prizren Eparchy has filed a third criminal complaint against this Albanian citizen who falsely claims to be an Orthodox bishop. Yes, you read that right — a third one!
Džufka again broke the lock on the 14th-century Church of St. Archangel Michael and illegally occupied a church owned by the SPC. He wants to claim this church for his fake organization that is not recognized by any Orthodox church.
But wait, there’s more! This man is known in Albania for spreading hatred and intolerance, and despite that, Kosovo authorities have not stopped him for two years. The eparchy appeals to the international community and judicial authorities to finally act and protect SPC’s rights, as Kosovo institutions clearly show no interest in resolving this issue.
This is not just about one church or one man. This is about the survival of the SPC in Kosovo and Metohija, about respecting religious rights and cultural heritage. If no action is taken, who knows what will be targeted next?
While Džufka breaks locks and causes chaos, and institutions stay silent, the SPC and its believers remain in uncertainty and fear. Isn’t it time for the international community to wake up and stand for justice? Or will we keep watching the rights of one church being trampled without any punishment?
If you have thoughts on this mess, share them — maybe your voice can spark something! Or at least give us a laugh in these serious times.
