The Hipodrom Exploded!
Have you heard about Marko Perković Thompson’s concert at Zagreb’s Hipodrom? No? Well, it was like half a million people decided to gather in one place and create the biggest music spectacle in Croatia’s history! Yes, you read that right – 504,000 people! That’s how many people reportedly attended the concert.
Handball Players and Drone Angels
Among the crowd was handball player Igor Karačić, who shared a photo from the concert on social media. But it wasn’t just any photo – drones in the sky formed two angels! Karačić wrote: “Isn’t it great to be Croatian!” The atmosphere was charged with patriotism and faith.
Thompson and His Message
The concert opened with the song “Rise, Shadow,” and Thompson said at the start: “I want to express my deep gratitude to everyone who came in such great numbers. Now we will show great unity. I tell all of Europe: return to your tradition, your Christian roots. Only then can Croatia be strong.”
Is this just a concert or a political rally? Some say it’s a celebration of tradition and faith, while others see danger in such massive gatherings with nationalist undertones.
The Biggest Concert in Croatia?
Organizers claim this is the biggest concert in Croatia’s history. Half a million people in one place! Imagine the crowd, the noise, the flares, and the songs echoing for hours.
What Do You Think?
Is this truly a celebration of culture and faith or something we should be worried about? Is it possible that such things happen in the 21st century? Or is it just proof that people still seek unity and identity?

Either way, the Hipodrom showed it can hold half a million people. How many would you survive in that crowd?
