Thompson’s Hipodrome Concert: Insane Noise and Half a Million Tickets Sold!

Get ready for the biggest concert in the history of independent Croatia! Marko Perković Thompson is gearing up for a massive show at Zagreb’s Hipodrome, and the numbers are mind-blowing – around half a million tickets have already been sold! Yes, you read that right, half a million people plan to gather in one place.

Insane noise heard for kilometers

Dino Jelusić, a well-known Croatian singer, couldn’t believe his ears during the general rehearsal. He lives eight kilometers from the Hipodrome, yet the sound check of Marko Perković Thompson was heard as if it was right outside his building! Every instrument, every note – insane! Just imagine what the sound will be like when the concert starts.

Hipodrome like never before

Last year, Dino performed at the same venue before Ed Sheeran and gathered about 70 people. This year, thanks to Ed’s audience, Dino got the chance to perform for 30 times more people! The Hipodrome has become a place of wonders, with an incredible stage, staff, and energy.

General rehearsal and pre-concert atmosphere

Last night’s general rehearsal drew crowds to the Freedom Bridge, eager to catch a glimpse of what awaits on Saturday. The stage setup is impressive, with graphics spinning on the stage. Although Thompson’s backing vocals were muted, the crowd could still enjoy part of the atmosphere.

Half a million people in one place – is it too much?

Organizers claim this is the biggest concert in the history of independent Croatia. But is half a million people in one place too much? Is the noise heard by residents within several kilometers justified? Dino Jelusić was clear – insane!

What do you think?

Are you for or against such massive events? Does Thompson deserve this kind of attention, or is this just another example of over-the-top hype? If you heard the sound check or plan to attend the concert, drop a comment below – let’s see who’s in and who’s out for this music spectacle of the year!

Either way, Saturday will be a day to remember, and the Hipodrome will turn into the epicenter of music and noise. Get ready, because this won’t be an ordinary concert – it will be a true explosion of sound and energy!
