Croatia marks recognition anniversary on January 15.

On January 15th, Croatia marks the anniversary of its international recognition, when in 1992 it was recognized by the members of the European Union. By the end of the war in 1995, most countries, including the USA, Russia, and India, had recognized Croatia. Recently, Somalia, the Central African Republic, and Togo have recognized it. Three countries – Bhutan, Niger, and Tonga, still have not recognized Croatia nor established diplomatic relations.
