New statistics from the Federal Motor Transport Authority in Germany (KBA) show that VW group cars are the most popular among Germans. The VW Golf ranks first with 100,183 new registrations in 2024. On the list of best-selling cars, the VW T-Roc takes second place, and the VW Tiguan is third. Among other models, the Škoda Octavia is fourth, while the list also includes the Seat Leon, BMW X1, Opel Corsa, and Astra. Only three vehicles in the top ten are not from the VW group, and no electric cars are among them.
