This afternoon, on the main road between Kraljevo and Vrnjačka Banja, in the village of Vrba, a total traffic nightmare unfolded! Three vehicles collided in a crash that left the road littered with smashed car parts and injured people. The police still don’t know how the accident happened, but traffic was completely stopped for several hours while emergency crews and police worked the scene.
Eyewitnesses say the cars were so badly damaged it looked like a disaster. Ambulances arrived quickly and rushed the injured to the nearest hospital, but there’s no word yet on how serious their injuries are. The police investigation is done, and traffic has returned to normal, but the big question remains – how are these crashes still happening on such busy roads?
To make matters worse, just a few days ago, on the main road between Užice and Zlatibor, in the village of Surduk, another crash injured two people. Two passenger cars collided head-on, scattering car parts across the road. One woman suffered a back injury. Police and emergency services responded fast, but drivers still have to take detours until traffic clears.
