Last night around 1:50 AM, another tragic traffic accident occurred near Bušletić, close to Doboj, claiming the life of a motorcyclist. The unfortunate man, N.Ž., was riding a Suzuki motorcycle when he died at the scene. The Doboj Police Department responded quickly, and the traffic police officers conducted an investigation under the supervision of the on-duty prosecutor. This is not the only tragedy on the roads of Republika Srpska – recently, there have been several fatal accidents, including the death of a pedestrian near Gradiška and another motorcyclist near Manjača. Will anything ever change on these dangerous roads, or will we keep counting the dead? Traffic safety clearly isn’t a priority, and lives are lost as if it’s normal.
