Belgrade, July 9 – In Serbia’s capital, at Autokomanda, a passenger car collided with a tram at exactly 10:10 AM. Luckily, according to the Ministry of Interior, no one was injured. However, the cause of the crash remains unknown. Traffic was not stopped, but the situation at this busy spot remains tense.
Is this just another in a long line of daily traffic incidents? Sadly, no. Just three days earlier, a chain collision involving three vehicles occurred on the Gazela Bridge. While no injuries have been confirmed, emergency teams and police were present, highlighting the seriousness of traffic conditions in Belgrade.
As Belgrade struggles with this traffic chaos, a car caught fire on the highway near Vrčin, causing thick smoke and slowing traffic. The cause of the fire is still unknown, and the Serbian Roads Company urges drivers to adjust their speed to road conditions. Clearly, traffic safety problems are becoming more frequent and demand urgent action from authorities.
These three events clearly show how critical the situation on Belgrade’s roads is. Will someone finally take responsibility and fix these problems, or will we keep watching accidents pile up?
