Canadian PM Trudeau to meet leaders to boost economy.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced a meeting of business leaders and worker representatives in Toronto to discuss trade diversification and strengthening the economy, due to U.S. threats of imposing tariffs. U.S. President Donald Trump postponed the imposition of tariffs for 30 days as a concession for securing the border and reducing crime. Trudeau emphasized the need to reduce Canada’s dependence on the U.S., where 75% of exports go. The meeting will seek ways to grow the economy and facilitate domestic trade.
