Brutal Robbery in Podgorica: Kosovo National Arrested, Three Still on the Run!
Podgorica is once again under the shadow of crime, and this time the main suspects are nationals from Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Albania! Police have arrested 20-year-old L.B. from Kosovo on suspicion of committing a brutal robbery against a foreign woman in her apartment on March 8. But that’s not all – three other suspects remain at large!
How Did It Happen?
According to the Police Directorate, L.B. and three others – I.F. (23) from Bosnia and Herzegovina, A.Z. (26) from Kosovo, and A.T. (28) from Albania – arrived at the victim’s apartment in a vehicle with Kosovo license plates. When the woman opened the door, they attacked her! Punches to the head were just the beginning – the woman fell, and they continued beating her, preventing her from standing or defending herself.
To make matters worse, I.F. threatened her with a knife demanding money. They stole about 1,900 euros, two gold rings, and two mobile phones, ransacked the apartment, and fled.
Police React – Arrest and Criminal Charges
The State Prosecutor of the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica acted swiftly. L.B. was arrested and charged with robbery, while criminal charges have been filed against the others. Police are still searching for I.F., A.Z., and A.T.
