Ukraine Strikes Russian Airbases with Drones: The War Hits Russia’s Heart!

The war in Ukraine has entered a new phase, and Ukraine has shown it can strike right at the heart of Russia! Ukrainian special forces carried out a daring attack on the Russian military airbase Borisoglebsk in the Voronezh region, destroying a warehouse of glide bombs and a training aircraft. This base houses Russian Su-34, Su-35, and Su-30SM jets, meaning Ukraine directly hit key enemy military infrastructure. But that’s not all! Ukraine simultaneously launched massive drone attacks on multiple Russian regions, including areas near Saint Petersburg, Smolensk, and Voronezh. The Russian Ministry of Defense admitted to destroying 42 drones in just three hours, while local officials reported fires and explosions near military airfields. Residents of Borisoglebsk reported 8 to 10 powerful detonations in the early morning hours, causing panic and fear. This series of strikes comes as a response to Russia’s massive missile attacks on Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv, where drones and missiles caused fires and civilian injuries. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump discussed strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, while Kyiv warned that cutting arms supplies would weaken Ukraine’s ability to defend itself. This escalation shows the war is not far from Russian borders, and Ukraine has no plans to stop. If you think the war is far from you, think again — explosions are heard closer and closer. So, what do you think? How far will Ukraine go with these strikes? Is this the start of a new war phase or just a prelude to even fiercer clashes? Drop a comment and let’s see who has the wildest theory!
