Ukraine Strikes Russian Airbases: Drones Down, Bombs Ablaze, Voronezh in Panic!

Looks like Ukraine isn’t planning to stop! Overnight, a Russian airbase in the Voronezh region was hit hard by Ukrainian forces. More than 25 drones were shot down, and a bomb storage was destroyed! Yes, you read that right — bombs literally went up in flames, and Russian jets SU-34, SU-35, and SU-30SM suffered serious damage. Ukrainian special forces carried out the operation aiming to reduce Russia’s ability to launch air strikes. The Ukrainian General Staff is still clarifying the results, but one thing is clear — this is a hit that can’t be ignored.

Voronezh region governor Alexander Gusev confirmed that over 25 drones were destroyed overnight, with air defense and electronic warfare units on full alert. No casualties were reported, but drone debris caused a power outage in one district and damaged private homes and garages. Gusev warns that the threat of further drone attacks remains, so Voronezh will have to stay on high alert.

All this comes just a day after a company producing parts for Shahed combat drones was hit in the Moscow region. Ukraine clearly doesn’t pick time or place — it strikes where it hurts the most. If you thought the war was far away, think again. This is a war fought in the air, with drones and bombs wreaking havoc on Russian bases. So, what do you think about these nighttime attacks? Is this the beginning of the end for Russian air dominance? Drop a comment, let’s see who’s for and who’s against!
