Urgent Reaction Needed to Violence Against Serbs in Kosovo: Who Will Stop the Institutional Terror?

Kosovo Violence at Its Peak: Serbian List Demands Urgent US and International Response!

Does anyone in the world even listen to Serbs in Kosovo? Apparently not! The Serbian List, led by President Zlatan Elek, held a meeting with high-ranking State Department officials headed by Brendan Hanrahan and made it crystal clear: institutions in Pristina are carrying out brutal institutional violence against the Serbian people, and international actors are silent as if nothing is happening.

What’s going on on the ground?

The situation gets worse every day. Pristina’s unilateral moves not only undermine the fragile security but also violate the basic rights of Serbs. The Serbian List made it clear that urgent de-escalation is needed and the international community must react immediately, not turn a blind eye.

Community of Serbian Municipalities – a dead letter?

For years, there has been talk about forming the Community of Serbian Municipalities, an obligation under the Brussels Agreement. But what happened? Nothing! Pristina ignores this obligation, and international actors do nothing to change that. Serbs in Kosovo are left out in the cold while their rights are trampled.

Why does this matter?

Because this is not just a local problem. It’s a test for the international community and its commitment to justice and peace. If no action is taken now, what awaits us tomorrow? Will violence become the norm and the rights of Serbs in Kosovo just a dead letter?

Conclusion

The Serbian List has clearly stated what needs to be done: urgent reaction, de-escalation, and formation of the Community of Serbian Municipalities. The international community can no longer stay silent and ignore. If it doesn’t act now, who will?

And you? What do you think, will the world finally stand with the Serbs in Kosovo or keep looking the other way? Drop a comment, let’s see who’s for action and who’s for silence!
