Shocking discovery in German stores! Popular mineral water brands, which many of us buy daily, are being urgently recalled due to detected bacterial contamination. Yes, you read that right – bacteria in bottles of water you might have already drunk! The recalled products mostly have expiration dates between 2023 and 2024, including brands like Gutampgünstig, Good & Cheap, and Naturalis. If you have any of these bottles at home, better return or throw them away immediately, as experts warn that consumption can cause serious health problems.
The company Roxane GmbH, which bottles water from the Clara Jessen source, confirmed the contamination, but details about the type of bacteria have not yet been released. These products were mainly sold in stores like Edeka, Marktkauf, and Netto. Consumers are advised to carefully check labels and expiration dates before drinking any bottled mineral water.
This is not the only food market problem – in Croatia, products like salmon with toxic metals and bread with insect larvae have been recalled! Is it time to start checking everything we put in our mouths?
