US Senate Demands $30 Billion Defense Budget Boost and More F 35 Jets

US Senate Wants to Blow Another $30 Billion on Defense – And That’s Not All!

Ready for another budget circus? The US Senate Armed Services Committee just demanded a whopping $30 BILLION increase in the defense budget for the fiscal year! Yes, you read that right – 30 BILLION! And this comes while the Trump administration already requested a massive budget.

But wait, there’s more! The Senate ordered the Air Force to buy 10 more F-35 fighter jets than originally planned. The Pentagon requested a total of 47 F-35s for the Air Force and Navy, and now they want even more. Who’s counting when it comes to weapons?

Of course, it’s not just about buying planes. The committee also approved millions in military aid to Ukraine as part of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) draft for the fiscal year. Aid to Ukraine was increased from $600 million to $825 million! And that’s not the end – the law limits the withdrawal of A-10 aircraft, requiring that the number in use not fall below 44.

The bill passed with 26 votes in favor and only one against, showing how ready Congress is to spend on the military and support for Ukraine. All this while regular folks watch their electricity and fuel bills skyrocket.

Is this really the time to throw billions at weapons and warplanes? Or is it time for someone to finally say, “Enough!”? If you’ve got thoughts, feel free to share – maybe you’ll spark the real conversation!
