The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has been collaborating with Serbia for almost 25 years, investing over $937 million in the country’s economic and democratic development. The funds have been used for building infrastructure, reforming the judiciary, and supporting local communities. USAID has funded numerous projects in Serbia, including the enhancement of the judiciary and media development. However, the future of this cooperation is uncertain due to Donald Trump’s decisions to freeze USAID projects for review. Despite this, additional funds have been announced to support Serbia.
