USKOK Reveals Charges Against Former Mayor of Pag and Other Defendants

USKOK has initiated an investigation and proposed pre-trial detention for former Mayor of Pag Ante Fabijanić and three other defendants on suspicion of abuse of office, aiding abuse, trading influence, and inciting abuse of office. The charges involve falsified business documents and unperformed works for which the city of Pag paid, causing damage to the city budget. The Zadar Police Department filed a criminal complaint, and USKOK detailed how the accused obtained undue material benefit. The arrests were made as part of an anti-corruption operation.
