Kidnappers in Montenegro held Syrians and Egyptians for ransom.

A group of Syrian and Egyptian citizens was held hostage in Montenegro, where the kidnappers demanded a ransom of 1,000 to 3,000 euros and abused them. The indictment by the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office against two Pakistanis states that they are suspected of kidnapping and abusing migrants. The victims testified that the kidnappers, armed with guns and knives, took their money and phones, tied them up, and abused them to extort additional money from their families.
