Tennis legend Mats Wilander has spoken openly about Novak Djokovic’s chances at the upcoming Wimbledon, and he’s not holding back! Will Novak clinch his eighth trophy in London and his 25th Grand Slam title? Wilander believes Djokovic is in great shape, possibly even better than at Roland Garros, despite coming close to losing to young Sinner there.
“Novak has won Wimbledon seven times, and now he’s coming to his favorite surface and tournament. I expect him to play as well or better than at Roland Garros, maybe even better than in Australia where he had an injury,” Wilander said.
But it’s not all smooth sailing — Wilander warns that physical exhaustion will be a big challenge, as the court slows down towards the end of the tournament, making it tougher for Djokovic. Still, his balance and grass-court game are impressive.
Potential opponents in the later rounds include young Sinner in the semifinals and Alcaraz in the final, which will be a real test for the Serbian ace. Wilander points out that Alcaraz is the favorite, but Djokovic remains among the top contenders.
Novak’s first match at Wimbledon will be against Alexander Miller, and tennis fans are eagerly waiting to see if Novak will continue making history and win another major trophy.
If you thought tennis was boring, think again! This Wimbledon could be the spectacle of the year, and Djokovic is ready to show why he’s the king of grass. What do you think — will Novak lift the trophy again? Drop your thoughts and let the people’s voice be heard!
