Over 13,400 cases of flu-like illnesses were registered in Serbia in the past week, with confirmed viruses of types A and B. The flu virus is present in most districts, and hospitals have banned visits due to the spread of the virus. Milunka Milinković from the “Batut” Institute stated that the epidemiological situation is expected for this period. The number of people suffering from respiratory infections has increased, and symptoms include high fever, muscle aches, and cough. Vaccination is recommended.
