Just when you think you’ve seen it all in Croatian tourism and society, Vlatka Pokos brutally proves you wrong! The singer, who rocked the scene in the 80s and 90s, recently faced a shocking experience in Split – a 5 euro bottle of water! Yes, you read that right, FIVE EUROS for a small bottle of water! And that’s not all. When she tried to return the bottle because she refused to pay that price, she was insulted and met with arrogance rarely imaginable. The bar owner publicly insulted her, calling her someone who never pays for anything, all in front of others. Is this normal behavior in touristy Croatia? Vlatka says NO!

But that’s not the only problem. The singer also condemned the extremist events linked to Marko Perković Tompson’s concert in Zagreb. The concert, attended by half a million people, was filled with fascist slogans and Ustaša salutes, sparking outrage. Vlatka clearly stated that it’s time for social change and protection of citizens’ rights because such wild behavior must not be tolerated.

Croatia, a country with a rich history and beautiful coast, seems to be battling its own demons – outrageous tourist prices, disrespect for basic rights, and rising extremism. Vlatka bluntly said Croats don’t vote, don’t know their rights, and silently endure being sheared like sheep. And we ask – how long will this go on?

Oh, and haters, Vlatka has expensive bags and she will never pay 5 euros for water! If you think this is just one story, think again. This is a mirror of a society that needs to change. So, what do you think? Is 5 euros for a bottle of water too much or just the tip of the iceberg? And how do you feel about a concert attended by half a million people filled with fascist messages? Drop a comment, let’s see who’s crazy here and who’s sane!
