Vojvodina is being built on democracy and dialogue, said Balint Juhas, President of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, at the start of the 10th session of the APV Assembly. The agenda includes 14 points, including the adoption of the final budget for the past year with an execution rate of 88%, with the highest execution in sports and healthcare. Special attention will be given to the fund for refugees and displaced persons, cooperation with Serbs in the region, and tourism, which is of great importance to Vojvodina due to its potential and the increase in the number of tourists. Juhas called on deputies to work through democracy and dialogue, emphasizing the Assembly as a place for such work. Also on the agenda are the election of Tomislav Žigmanov as Vice President of the Provincial Government and Aleksandra Radak as Secretary of Finance, as well as amendments to plans for Sremski Karlovci and Fruška Gora, and a spatial plan for the infrastructure corridor of the railway from Belgrade to the border with Croatia. The allocation of funds for culture and festivals will be done according to adopted plans, trusting that experts will make the right decisions. This session is crucial for the further development of Vojvodina as a modern region, focusing on long-term plans and stability.
