Citizens of Belgrade have the opportunity to voluntarily donate blood at five locations on May 22. Blood can also be donated daily at the Institute of Blood Transfusion of Serbia at Svetog Save 39, on weekdays from 7 AM to 7 PM, and on weekends and holidays from 8 AM to 3 PM. A blood donor can be any healthy adult after a medical examination and blood count check to ensure that donating blood will not endanger either the donor or the recipient. This action is part of ongoing efforts to ensure an adequate blood supply for the healthcare system.
