Bullying at Vuko Jovović School: School Covers Up, Parents Demand Principal’s Dismissal!

Hell in Vuko Jovović School: Bullying Covered Up, Parents Demand Principal’s Dismissal!

At Vuko Jovović Elementary School in Danilovgrad, a nightmare is unfolding, and the authorities and school management seem to be turning a blind eye! The mother of a beaten sixth-grade student reveals that her son was brutally attacked on February 19, and the school did nothing to protect the child or punish the bullies. To make matters worse, surveillance footage was not reviewed, and students present nearby were not questioned! How is this even possible?

Inspection and Ombudsman Reveal Failures

The Education Institute and the Office of the Human Rights Ombudsman of Montenegro conducted inspections and compiled reports confirming that the school failed to respond appropriately. The school psychologist confirmed the incident but was not consulted during the process, nor was a comprehensive analysis conducted. Parents claim the school administration tried to cover up the case, and communication with them was absent for almost a month!

Student Survey Reveals Shocking Data

A pre-inspection survey showed that only 37% of students feel safe at school, while 29% have experienced peer violence. The most common forms of violence are verbal (71%), physical (32%), social (28%), digital (23%), and sexual (9%). Nine students suffered sexual violence, and the school remains silent and takes no action! How is it possible that no records were kept of these cases?

Parents on Edge: Demand Principal’s Removal!

The mother of the beaten boy claims that Principal Mirjana Keković and her deputy are unaware of what is happening at the school, allegedly because they teach at another school. Parents demand the immediate dismissal of the principal, as her negligence and incompetence have cost their children’s health, safety, and education. The Ombudsman confirmed that the child suffered serious bodily injuries and that his right to safety at school was violated.

School Still Ignores the Problem, Parents Threaten Hunger Strike!

Despite clear evidence and the opinions of the inspection and ombudsman, the school has not initiated the principal’s dismissal procedure. Parents are outraged and threaten radical measures, including a hunger strike, if the problem is not resolved. Will the authorities finally put an end to this violence, or will children continue to be victims of irresponsibility?

What do you think about this? Is it possible the school is covering up such cases? Share your thoughts, maybe together we can make a change!
