Today in Serbia, a new section of the E763 highway “Miloš Veliki” between Pakovraće and Požega, measuring 19.56 kilometers, was officially opened, featuring the two longest road tunnels in the country – Laz and Munjino Brdo. President Aleksandar Vučić proudly stated that Serbia is now a strong country with the most modern and safest infrastructure, despite numerous obstacles and blockades that tried to halt development. Vučić emphasized that this section is one of the most significant infrastructure projects in Serbia, built despite difficult conditions and skepticism. He criticized the blockaders and those who do not love their country, pointing out that the police endure attacks while they try to stop the country. Vučić promised that the state will know how to establish order and protect everyone, expressing pride in the Serbian people who showed resilience and determination. The new highway brings safety and modernity, meeting the highest global standards, including the constant presence of emergency services in the tunnels. The president announced that part of the highway will be free to use starting July 15. This project is the result of six years of work and symbolizes Serbia’s progress, which has built more kilometers of highways in the last 12 years than in the previous 67 years. Vučić also noted that work will continue on other important sections, raising infrastructure to an even higher level. Although some media criticized the safety of the tunnels, Vučić responded that everything was done according to the strictest standards and that the tunnel is safer than many in Europe. This event sparked numerous reactions, and Vučić took the opportunity to call on citizens for unity and support for the country’s further development. If you thought blockades and criticism would stop Serbia, think again – the highway is here, and it is the most modern yet! What do you think about these infrastructure achievements?
