The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, stated that teachers have the right to shorten classes as a form of strike, but not to completely stop working according to the country’s laws. All teachers received the same salaries for January. Vučić expects the situation to be different in February. He emphasized that the state was lenient during the crisis and highlighted the importance of dialogue. Vučić expressed hope for a reasonable solution following students’ statements about non-cooperation with politicians.
