Vučić thanked Italy for support, expects trade boost.

President Aleksandar Vučić expressed gratitude to Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani for his visit and support during difficult times, emphasizing the importance of developing a partnership with Italy under new geopolitical conditions. Vučić highlighted that Italy wishes to expedite Serbia’s entry into the EU and will participate in EXPO 2027. He also noted that an increase in trade with Italy is expected, especially with the start of the serial production of “Fiat Panda.” Vučić praised Italian companies and financial institutions.
