Serbia’s president plans to invest in a struggling factory.

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, visited the “Prva Petoletka” factory in Trstenik and announced that the state will provide one million euros next week to restart the factory’s operations, along with additional funds. Vučić spoke with the factory’s management and assessed the situation as difficult, with total liabilities amounting to 5.2 million euros. Investment is planned to resolve the working capital issues and enable operations with a primary surplus. Vučić emphasized the need for more responsible behavior and announced a reduction in debt.
