This route is part of a broader strategy connecting Montenegro to over 50 destinations across Europe, thanks to the IAG consortium, which includes Iberia, British Airways, Aer Lingus, and Level. Passengers from Montenegro can now check their luggage in Tivat and pick it up as far away as Buenos Aires or London! That’s a true global connection.
Airport Director Roko Tolić and Tivat Mayor Željko Komnenović emphasize that this opens doors to new markets and will help position Montenegro as a top tourist destination. The Tivat Tourist Organization, led by Nina Lakičević, highlights that flights will extend the season, especially in September and October, when the climate is still pleasant but flight numbers usually drop.
