War in Ukraine: Zelensky Signs Tribunal, Ukraine Strikes Deep into Russia, Russian Losses Mount

The war in Ukraine rages on with intense airstrikes by Russian forces across multiple locations including Mykolaiv, Kryvyi Rih, and Kherson, where at least two people have been killed and several injured. But while Russia continues its offensive, Ukraine is not sitting idle.

Zelensky and the Special Tribunal for War Crimes Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed documents ratifying the agreement to establish a special tribunal for crimes of Russian aggression. This tribunal stems from an agreement recently signed in Strasbourg with the Council of Europe, and now awaits swift ratification by the Ukrainian parliament and member states of the Council of Europe. Zelensky has made it clear that Russia must be held accountable for its crimes and that an international legal process is inevitable.

Ukraine Strikes Deep into Russia – Drones in Izhevsk Ukrainian forces have carried out a drone strike on a military plant in Izhevsk, located over 1,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, which produces air defense systems and drones for Russian forces. Video footage shows drones destroying the plant while Russians calmly walked around, with no sirens or warnings. This is a clear sign that Ukraine can strike deep into Russian territory, complicating the situation for Moscow.

Massive Attacks and Heavy Russian Losses The Russian military launched massive attacks on Ukraine’s military-industrial facilities, using up to 60 drones and 60 missiles. Ukrainian forces successfully repelled the attacks, but a Ukrainian F-16 fighter jet was shot down, and the pilot was killed. On the other hand, Russian losses are record-breaking – over 30,000 troops and more than 1,000 tanks destroyed in the past six months.

Ukrainian Counteroffensives and Destruction of Russian Equipment Ukrainian units have destroyed significant Russian forces in various sectors, including tanks, armored vehicles, trucks, and artillery. Notably active are groups “Center”, “West”, “North”, “Dnieper”, “East”, and “South”, which inflicted heavy losses on Russian troops. Ukrainian drones have also destroyed Russian air defense systems and damaged fighter jets.

Russian Defense and Number of Drones Shot Down in Night Attacks Russian air defense shot down about 60 Ukrainian drones overnight, mostly over southwestern Russia, the Crimean Peninsula, and the Black Sea. Nevertheless, these attacks show that Ukraine is not giving up on striking Russian targets, even deep in enemy territory.

Conclusion: The War Intensifies, and the World Watches As the war in Ukraine continues with brutal clashes and massive losses, Zelensky and Ukraine show determination not to give up. The establishment of a special tribunal for war crimes sends a clear message to Russia that it will be held accountable. At the same time, Ukrainian drones hitting deep targets in Russia reveal a new dimension of the conflict.

If you think this is the end, think again! The war is evolving, and we will follow every step. What do you think – can Ukraine truly break the Russian offensive? Or is this just the beginning of a long and bloody story? Drop a comment, let the people’s voice be heard!
