The state has released over 16,000 documents regarding the collapse of the canopy at the Novi Sad Railway Station, where 15 people died. Sanja Fric and engineer Zoran Đorđević analyzed the causes of the accident on the RTS show “Oko.” It was revealed that the designers did not have access to the original project from the sixties, which was crucial for understanding the structure. Đorđević emphasized that the tension cable system was susceptible to corrosion, which contributed to the accident. The issue of inadequate maintenance was highlighted.
