The cherry orchard of Zoran Antanasković in the village of Majkovac, at the foot of Radan Mountain, has been attacked for the second time in several years by a pack of wild boars. These animals caused significant damage, destroying about 270 cherry trees, while several dozen remained intact or with minor damage. It is estimated that at least half a ton of cherries were destroyed. Zoran contacted the hunting association and plans to hire an agricultural expert to assess the damage. According to a hunter, wild boars break trees to sharpen their teeth, and they may be attracted by the cherry pits. This recurring problem raises concerns as it threatens agricultural production in the area.
