Get ready, basketball fans! The Women’s European Basketball Championship is finally kicking off, and Serbia is ready to show some teeth! From June 17 to 29, Italy, Czech Republic, Greece, and Germany will host this spectacular event. Our women’s national team is placed in Group B in Bologna, where they will battle Italy, Slovenia, and Lithuania. The first game is tomorrow at 9 PM against Italy, followed by a clash with Lithuania on June 19 at 5:30 PM. The final group match is on June 21 at 5:30 PM against Slovenia.
But wait, there’s more! Other groups include Greece, Turkey, France, and Switzerland in Piraeus; Czech Republic, Belgium, Montenegro, and Portugal in Brno; and Germany, Great Britain, Sweden, and Spain in Hamburg. Only the top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals, scheduled for June 24 and 25. Semifinals will be played on June 27, and the final, along with matches for third, fifth, and sixth places, will take place on June 29 in Piraeus.
