Zadar’s Mountain Rescue Service Strikes Again – But This Time It’s Not Hikers, It’s a Dog! On a Friday night, two brave rescuers from the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service (HGSS) station in Zadar rushed to the area near Kudin Bridge, east of Obrovac, to save an exhausted dog. Yes, you read that right – a dog! This poor pup was so worn out he couldn’t move on his own, but our HGSS heroes didn’t hesitate. They carefully placed him on a stretcher and transported him to safety. At the safe spot, the dog was handed over to a shelter team who will take care of him further. HGSS wished him a speedy recovery and hopes he finds a warm home soon. This isn’t the first time HGSS has shown how dedicated and ready they are to help in any situation, even when it comes to saving animals. Hats off to them! Have you ever seen a dog rescued like this? Or maybe you have your own HGSS hero story? Share it in the comments, let’s all laugh and marvel at these folks who don’t pick and choose who to help!
