Lion keeper Mirko Samardžija reveals that working with these powerful beasts is no walk in the park – it’s serious business where trust and caution go hand in hand. While the zoo modernizes and meets strict European standards, visitors still think lions are just oversized pets. Ha! Mirko knows better – lions are wild, not cuddly!
