Zdravko Čolić Spent €45,000 on Brijuni Vacation: Luxury or Madness?

Zdravko Čolić’s €45,000 Brijuni Vacation: Luxury or Madness?

Legendary singer Zdravko Čolić decided to spend his summer 2023 in style – vacationing on Brijuni, Tito’s favorite holiday spot, with his family. But did you know he shelled out a whopping €45,000 for just ten days? Yes, you read that right – forty-five thousand euros!

Luxury that costs like a small apartment

Čolić spared no expense. Accommodation in a five-star hotel alone cost him nearly €20,000. But that’s not all – his daughters are used to pure luxury, enjoying the most expensive food, private beaches, and all the hotel treatments. That added another €15,000 to the bill.

And to make it even more extravagant, there were plane tickets, a personal driver, and boat rental, costing an additional €10,000. All in all, ten days on the Croatian coast cost Čolić around €45,000.

Brijuni – Tito’s empire of luxury

Brijuni used to be Josip Broz Tito’s favorite holiday destination and today symbolize luxury and exclusivity. A vacation here is not for the average wallet. Čolić clearly wanted to provide his family with the ultimate experience, but was it really necessary to spend so much?

Is this an example for us?

While ordinary people save on everything from food to travel, Zdravko Čolić throws tens of thousands of euros around like pocket change. Is this just a show of power or simply enjoying the fruits of his labor? Maybe a bit of both.

What do you think?

Is such spending on luxury justified or just wasteful? Would you spend €45,000 on ten days of vacation? Or is it better to stay modest and enjoy simpler things? Drop a comment and let’s see who’s for luxury and who’s for saving!
