The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, expressed his readiness for negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin if it is the only way to achieve peace in the country. He emphasized that the willingness to negotiate is already a compromise and a sign that Ukraine is seeking a solution to end the conflict that has lasted almost three years. Zelensky stressed that the negotiation process should include Ukraine, the USA, the EU, and Russia, but he highlighted that Kyiv is not prepared to recognize any occupied territory as Russian. Moscow has expressed readiness for negotiations.
