War or Peace? Zelensky Won’t Back Down on Weapons!
Ukraine is back in the spotlight, and President Volodymyr Zelensky is relentless in demanding new arms shipments. Will the West finally realize Ukraine needs powerful air defense and drone interceptors, or are we in for another month of empty promises?
Negotiations Are On, But What’s Really Happening?
Zelensky said in his evening address that talks with partners about new arms deliveries are ongoing. Good agreements have already been made, but he expects more deals. “It is important to implement every agreement as soon as possible, this is a key priority,” the Ukrainian president stressed.
American Aid – Pause or Full Stop?
Although the Pentagon halted shipments of certain missiles and artillery shells last week, Zelensky claims deliveries will resume. U.S. President Donald Trump promised on July 8 to send more weapons after talks with Zelensky. However, the Pentagon said the pause was necessary to review stockpiles and assess needs.
Sanctions on Russia – Pressure Mounts
Zelensky emphasized that strong steps regarding sanctions on Russia are expected soon. “Pressure must work,” he said, recalling recent Russian drone attacks that injured nine people, including women in labor.
Ukraine Demands Urgent Help
The president clearly stated Ukraine needs protection, especially air defense and drone interceptors. “We must implement everything that will pressure Russia and stop it as soon as possible,” he wrote on Facebook.
Russian Attacks Continue
Russia continues attacks on various Ukrainian regions, including Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, and Odesa oblasts. Zelensky pointed out that Russia targets lives, even where the war is just beginning.
What’s Next?
As the world wonders if Ukraine will get the weapons it desperately needs, Zelensky keeps control and refuses to give up the fight. Will the West finally recognize the urgency, or will Ukraine be left waiting?
