Chaos in Zemun: Prosecutors Hunt Thugs, But Violence Keeps Escalating!

The streets of Zemun are burning with violence, and the prosecutors seem to be chasing their own tails! Last night, five thugs attacked a man at the corner of Avijatičarski Trg and the main street in Zemun. The result? Bodily injuries and a prosecutor’s order to arrest the attackers. But wait, there’s more! The Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade already issued an order this morning to identify and prosecute the participants of this savage attack. Why? Because hooligan behavior and attempts to remove illegally placed barricades have become everyday occurrences.

Is this Serbia in 2024? Road blockades, street violence, and the fury of citizens who can’t get emergency help because roads are blocked! Imagine this – traffic jams stretching up to 5 kilometers, people trapped in their cars, while thugs roam free.

And it doesn’t stop there! The Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade is now appealing court decisions that refused to detain 19 suspects involved in violence during protests at Slavija Square on June 28. These people, aged between 21 and 60, are charged with hooliganism and assaulting police officers. Judges said “no” to detention, but prosecutors warn – this is dangerous and could escalate!

Where is justice? Where is order? While the judicial system struggles to catch the thugs, the streets are on fire, and citizens are helpless. Emergency services can’t reach patients, and violence is becoming a daily occurrence.

If you think this is just another news story, think again. This is a wake-up call for all of us. Will we let violence and chaos become the norm? Or will we wake up and say – enough is enough?

Now, as you mull this over, look around. Have you seen violence on the streets? Or maybe you’ve witnessed it firsthand? Share your stories, because this isn’t just news – it’s our reality!
