Pakleni požar u Kaštelima: Paljenje korova koje je moglo uništiti crkvicu Svetog Jure!
Jeste li ikada pomislili da jedna nepažnja može dovesti do katastrofe? Pa, u Kaštelima, blizu Splita, upravo se to dogodilo! Jedan muškarac je odlučio da spali korov, i to je bio početak pakla. Plamen je izmakao kontroli i zahvatio oko 35 hektara niskog raslinja, trave i borove šume. Da, dobro ste pročitali – 35 hektara!
Vatrogasci su se borili kao lavovi, sa čak 30 vozila i 34 vatrogasca na terenu, a u pomoć su priskočila i tri kanadera. Iako vatra nije ugrožavala kuće, šteta je ogromna, a dva vatrogasna vozila su lakše oštećena u borbi s vatrenom stihijom.
Ali, čekajte, nije kraj! Najhrabriji među njima – piloti kanadera – pokazali su izuzetnu hrabrost i uspeli su da zaštite crkvicu Svetog Jure od sigurne propasti. Da nije bilo njih, ova istorijska svetinja mogla je biti samo pepeo.
Policija je odmah reagovala i pokrenula istragu protiv muškarca koji je izazvao požar. Apeliraju na sve da se suzdrže od spaljivanja korova i loženja vatre na otvorenom, jer najmanja iskra može izazvati katastrofu.
Ovaj incident je još jedan dokaz koliko je nepažnja opasna i koliko brzo priroda može da se osveti. Da li je zaista vredno rizikovati ljudske živote, imovinu i prirodu zbog neodgovornog paljenja korova?

Fire in Kaštela: Burning Weeds That Almost Destroyed the Church of St. George!
Ever thought one careless act could lead to disaster? Well, in Kaštela near Split, that’s exactly what happened! A man decided to burn weeds, and that was the start of hell. The fire got out of control and spread over about 35 hectares of low vegetation, grass, and pine forest. Yes, you read that right – 35 hectares!
Firefighters fought like lions, with around 30 vehicles and 34 firefighters on site, and three Canadair water bombers joined the battle. Although houses were not threatened, the damage was huge, and two fire trucks were lightly damaged fighting the blaze.
But wait, there’s more! The bravest among them – the Canadair pilots – showed exceptional courage and managed to protect the Church of St. George from certain destruction. Without them, this historic shrine could have been just ashes.
The police immediately launched an investigation against the man who caused the fire. They urge everyone to refrain from burning weeds and lighting fires outdoors because even the smallest spark can cause a catastrophe.
This incident is yet another proof of how dangerous carelessness is and how quickly nature can retaliate. Is it really worth risking human lives, property, and nature for irresponsible weed burning?
